The Dolphinfish

Oceana.org has a great quick read about the common dolphinfish,  a fast-growing and colorful fish you’re likely to catch on the Rebel Soul.

Also known as Mahi mahi, the dolphinfish can grow to lengths of about 6 1/2 feet with weights of up to 88 pounds.

As you can see in the photo, these things are abundant! They reach sexual maturity in 3 to 4 months, and a  female produces millions of eggs through its lifetime.

Check out the article to learn more about this interesting fish, and contact us if you’re interested in catching some!

PS
Dolphinfish aren’t related to dolphins!
